Life itself is the most realistic drama and the world is nature-painted most realistic stage. Drama, being, the closest genre to life exhibits numerous complexities and also offers seamless commentaries on various hidden and visible nuances of human persona by visualizing the myopic as well as magnified stage presentations. In any radio play options of presentations are largely restricted as the same lacks the tools and options of visual display and thus the production of the same is the most challenging task where every restriction and limitations are to be countered by the power of speech only.




Vividh Bharti services of All India Radio produced one of its most popular Radio comedy Udaipur ki Train, way back in the nineties and became popular amongst its audience. Its audio was well received by listeners for generating humour and irony through the subtle linguistic expressions and paralinguistic vocalizations. Because of its quality and ever-growing popularity, its partial audio was oft repeated and frequently broadcasted from the platform of Hawa Mahal on specific demands.
